In Winter Ramsau looks like a fairytale, a white, picturesque szenery. The plateau at the foot of the Dachstein mountain range is a paradise for cross-country-skiers, and it has as well been organizer of the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999. The slopes, about 180 km, (classic style and skating) are being newly prepared on a daily basis, and they are just to enter beside our farmhouse. Very near, just around the corner, you find a skilift, which is ideal for all alpine skiers: beginners find best conditions there and even for the advanced alpine skiers, the hill is best for getting ready to join the ski mountains of the region. Snowboarders as well can do their first tentatives. And for all those who want to enjoy the winter without ski or board, there are kilometers of winter trails, enter them just outside our farm and walk all over the plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein.
